Our parties are so engaging and exciting, children as young as 3- or 4-years-old have a great time!
But since children develop at different rates, the best (and really, ONLY) way to see if your child is ready for our program is to take advantage of one of our WEB SPECIALS and bring your child in for a quick introduction.
No. In fact, the opposite is true!
Children are exposed to HUGE amounts of simulated and real violence in video games, on television, in movies, on the internet, and in other media outlets.
But in our unique program, we teach students real, practical, effective non-violent conflict resolution techniques and tactics that can defuse the situation before it escalates to violence. We also teach escape techniques and tactics that even smaller people can use to move to safety if approached by a potentially dangerous situation.
Should your child be confronted with an aggressive situation that can’t be resolved peacefully or escaped from, he or she will have the basic martial arts skills needed to defend themselves.

I started my Taekwondo journey here at Yong In USA Martial Arts and have very fond memories. I not only attended class, I also taught the children there as well. Watching all the kids gain self confidence, learn respect and have fun is something I absolutely enjoyed. I love all the masters and instructors, especially Grandmaster Kim, who helped me and was always by my side. He has the best patience and the best advice, definitely a father figure I admire. I had the privilege to train and learn with Grand Master Kim about 20 years ago. Now I get to watch my kids do the same. The confidence, respect and discipline that my kids have developed in such a short time is amazing. Yong-in USA is one of the best investments I ever made. I appreciated the kindness of all the masters and instructors there, especially Grandmaster Kim. The training helped me both physically and mentally. I have seen kids come in that are shy and become confident young teens, and I have seen extra energetic kids become calm, disciplined students. Taekwondo and Hapkido are excellent martial arts, and I think this is one of the best places to learn.
